Objective 3 – Easy come, easy go (Accessibility)

The Falkirk BID wants to make the BID area more accessible to users of the town centre and propose to introduce an Autumn/Winter bus promotion in Years 2 and 3 of the BID. This project is aimed at encouraging increased visits to the town centre by public transport and benefiting business by increasing footfall.

In addition to the seasonal bus promotion:

• We are working with Falkirk Council to introduce new pedestrian orientation signs within the town centre.

• The Falkirk BID are currently investigating the possibility of making the town centre fully Wi-Fi connected, benefiting visitors to the town as well as residents and businesses.
